Religion/Creed
It is unlawful, because of religion, to:
- Fail to accept or consider a bona fide offer for the sale or rental of a dwelling
- Refuse to sell or rent, or negotiate for the sale or rental of a dwelling
- Impose different sales prices or rental charges for the sale or rental of a dwelling
- Use different qualification criteria, or sale or rental standards or procedures
- Evict tenants because of their religion or religion of a tenant's guest
- Discriminate in the terms, conditions or privileges, or provision of services or facilities in connection with sales or rentals
- Make, print or publish, any notice, statement or advertisement with respect to the sale or rental of a dwelling that indicates any preference, limitation or discrimination because of religion
- Represent to any person that a dwelling is not available for sale or rental it is available
- Engage in blockbusting practices in connection with the sale or rental of dwellings
Under WA State Law it is unlawful to discriminate in a real estate transaction because of a person's creed.
